The organization of the Madrid iConference will program a broad variety of social and cultural activities during the meeting.

GOLF RYDER CUP

On March 29th the I Golf Ryder Cup Tournament for Plastic Surgeons will be held for all registered physicians and guests. The players from each one of the teams, European and American, will be ranked by handicap and they will play against each other in doubles and matchplay. The team that adds more points will win.

The Cocktail Reception will take place at the prestigious Hotel Villa Magna-Hyatt of Madrid on the evening of March 30th. It will be an excellent opportunity to relax after the interesting beginning of the conference which will include lectures and live surgery of the orbit

With over 150 years of history and with its gastronomy directed by the famous chef Ferran Adria, considered by the specialized press as the wold´s most innovative chef, it wil be without a doubt, an unforgettable evening.

MADRID AND ITS SURROUNDINGS

Among Madrid's many offerings, one can visit a great range of monuments from many different periods including the Royal Palace, Descalzas Convent, Cibeles Square, the Post Office "Palace", Alcalá Gate, etc...

Another option, which no visitor should miss, is the great range of museums to see. One of the finest collections of paintings can be found in a small area known as "The Art Triangle". This is the triangle formed by the Prado Museum, the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection and the Reina Sofía Museum and together they can be considered as the greatest collection of western art in the world
