Objectives
The purpose of this project is to obtain one single live video signal, taken with different cameras and in different places, in order to broadcast it worldwide through the internet using three seperate compression formats.

Technical issues
Signal reception will take place through QuickTime in its version 7.0 or later. This program includes the video compresion codec H.264. Developed by Apple, this codec achieves very high compression levels with practically no loss of image quality. QuickTime technology is available for both Windows and Mac OSX platforms, which garantees that all users will be able to view the contents.
Due to the high number of users and computers connected simultaneously during the surgical procedures, the services of a carrier with more than 5 Gb of band width will be provided in order to provide service to all the connected users.
